If you ask someone with the top tourist destination in Orlando, Florida, chances are that they’re going to mention Walt Disney World at the top of their list. When you stay in one of our Orlando vacation rentals near Disney, you’ll have immediate access to the most magical place on Earth! But what can you expect to find at Walt Disney World? We’re here to break it down!

Theme Parks

Walt Disney World is broken down into four main theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom is perhaps the most iconic of the Walt Disney World parks, since it is home to the breathtaking Cinderella Castle. Spend your day strolling down Main Street USA, enjoying a ride on the Seven Dwarves Mine Train roller coaster, or walking through Frontierland or Fantasyland. Magic Kingdom is open from at least 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

For those who love to travel, Epcot is the place to be. Here, you'll find tons of incredible pavilions within the World Showcase, each dedicated to a different country such as Canada, France, Japan, Morocco, Norway, and more. On the other side of Epcot, you can explore Future World and enjoy rides like Test Track and Mission: SPACE. Epcot is open from at least 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

Hollywood Studios will take you into the world of some of your favorite franchises, such as Toy Story and Star Wars. This park has some of the newest additions to Walt Disney World, including popular attractions like Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway and Rise of the Resistance. Hollywood Studios is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

Finally, Animal Kingdom brings you into Asia and Africa and puts you face-to-face with some of the world’s most interesting creatures, as well as the amazing world of Pandora from Avatar. Enjoy rides like Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safari, and Expedition Everest. Animal Kingdom is open from at least 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.

Water Parks

If you want to cool off on a hot day, head to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.

Typhoon Lagoon offers a fun-filled day on the water for guests of all ages. Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, Crush ‘n’ Gusher, Jumunga Kowabunga, and Ketchakiddee Creek are just a few of the most popular attractions here.

Blizzard Beach gives you a fun day in the water in the midst of a unique winter theme. Enjoy rides like Summit Plummet, Tike’s Peak, Runoff Rapids, and Toboggan Racers. Blizzard Beach is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.

Tickets

If you’re trying to get Walt Disney World theme park tickets, you have two main options. You can choose to purchase tickets individually, which allows you to go to one park per day. You can also opt for the Park Hopper option, which comes with an added cost but allows you to “hop” between two parks in the same day.

Standard theme park tickets start at a cost of $109 per day. If you want to add a Park Hopper option, you will incur an additional cost. The more days you purchase tickets, the lower your per-ticket cost will be! For instance, if you purchase 4 days of tickets, you’ll pay $105 per day.
